Custom Tabs

DO YOU EVER WANT TO ADD MORE DETAILS TO YOUR CLIENT INFORMATION?

Record where you have seen a potential lead? Or do you want to be able to store extra contact phone numbers? Would you like to create a form to store your client’s preferences?

Here is an example of a custom tab, where it is used to record where you have seen a potential lead:

You can now design your own custom tabs to store data you require. These appear as extra tabs on your client screen, as can be seen in the example below.

 

To set up your own custom tabs click on the gear icon top right of page > Under the Customers & Actions heading select Custom Tabs > Click on the green New Tab button top right of page - this will bring up the the custom tab page ready to edit.

 

 

In the example below we're adding a text area - you simply click on the 'Text Area' from the right hand side and drag it over to the centre space

 

Next, click on the edit icon circled above.  This brings up the screen below - ready to edit the fields. 

In the Tab Name field enter the name you wish to appear on the tab on the client page.  In this example we've called it 'Extra Info'. 

If you look at the second image below you can see exactly where the text for each field appears when the custom tab is viewed.

 

 

This is how the custom tab appears on the client page when you click on the 'Extra Info' tab.

You can type any additional information into the text box and click update to save the details.

 

 

You can set up multiple custom tabs to suit your needs.  Simply drag the option fields from the right hand side over into the main area and edit them as required.  Multiple fields can be included in one custom tab.

Number Example:

You can set the min and max numbers available to choose.  If the step field is set at 1, the number will go up by 1, if you set it to 5 they will go up in 5's.
